Product description
A handcrafted round accent stool with a richly detailed brass arabesque inlay set into a solid hardwood top. The geometric medallion draws on Mughal jali traditions, layering intricate strapwork into a four-fold mandala that catches and warms the light. Slim turned legs splay gently outward, giving the piece an elegant, almost tripod-like silhouette. Made to order in the size, wood and finish that suits your space, it works beautifully as a side stool, plant pedestal, drinks table or quiet corner accent.
Design origin
The carved geometric medallion finds its roots in the jali screens of Mughal architecture — latticework that filtered light, governed air and turned plain walls into rhythm. Craftsmen translated that same vocabulary into wood and, later, into beaten brass panels, where the negative space becomes as important as the carved line. Here, the brass inlay sits inside a hardwood frame to echo the play of solid and void, marrying two of India's oldest surface traditions into a single small piece of furniture.
