1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of vistaraateliers.com and to enquiries and orders placed through it with Vistara Ateliers. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. The written quotation we send for your order forms part of these terms; if the two differ, the quotation wins.

2. The catalogue

• Every piece is carved and finished by hand. Grain, colour, tool marks and small details will vary from the photographs and from piece to piece — that is the nature of handwork, not a defect.
• Sizes, weights and finishes shown are approximate until confirmed in your quotation.
• Reference images show the style of a piece; your piece is made to the approved drawing and sample.
• No prices are listed. Every piece is quoted for its size, finish and quantity.

3. Orders and quotations

• Placing an order on the website is a request, not a purchase. You receive an order number and a receipt link straight away, and no payment is taken.
• We then confirm the price, sample plan, delivery date and payment terms with you in a written quotation. The contract is formed only when you accept that quotation.
• We may decline an order, for example if a piece cannot be made to the requested size or material.

4. Samples and approval

For made-to-order work we prepare a sample or detailed drawing for your approval before production. Production starts only after you approve it in writing. Changes requested after approval may change the price and delivery date.

5. Payment

Payment amounts, milestones and methods are set out in your quotation. We never ask you to pay through a link, a QR code or a UPI request from an unknown number. Payment instructions only ever come from vistaraateliers.24@gmail.com and always quote your order number. If in doubt, write to us before paying.

6. Delivery

Pieces are inspected, fitted with wall-mounting hardware where relevant and packed for transport. Delivery dates are estimates confirmed in your quotation. Please check your piece on arrival and tell us about any transit damage within 48 hours, with photos, so we can resolve it with the courier.

7. Cancellations, returns and defects

• Because pieces are made to your specification, cancellation and refund terms are those stated in your quotation.
• If a piece arrives damaged or does not match the approved sample, contact us with photos and your order number and we will repair, remake or refund it as agreed with you.
• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

8. Designs and content

The photographs, drawings, text and designs on this website belong to Vistara Ateliers or are used with permission. You may share links and use images to discuss a piece with us, but not copy or resell them. If you send us a reference design, you confirm you are allowed to have it reproduced.

9. Using the website

Please don’t misuse the forms (spam, false orders, impersonation) or try to disrupt the site. We screen submissions automatically and may ignore any that look abusive. The site is provided as is; we work to keep it accurate and available but can’t guarantee it will be error-free.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for an order is limited to the price paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will always try to resolve a concern directly with you first.
