Product description
A compact corner side table carved from a single block of solid mango wood, with a smoothly turned bowl-form top resting on a tall, hand-fluted tapered pedestal. The reeded column catches light along its rhythm of soft grooves, giving the piece a quiet sculptural presence. Finished by hand in a warm honey matte that lets the natural grain read through. Ideal for boutique hotel rooms, restaurant corners, lounge seating and residential living areas where space is at a premium.
Design origin
The form draws on the traditional Indian lathe-turned wooden stool and ceremonial low table, where a heavy domed top sits on a stout central column. Vistara reinterprets this archetype by stretching the pedestal and adding fine, hand-carved fluting inspired by the reeded columns of colonial-era haveli verandahs, marrying vernacular joinery with a contemporary minimal silhouette.
