A small hand-carved wooden footstool or accent seat, finished in deep walnut and topped with a brightly embroidered fabric panel reminiscent of Pichwai devotional textiles from Rajasthan, depicting lotus and floral motifs in turquoise, coral and saffron. The four legs are turned and shaped in a classic Indian silhouette, joined to a square seat frame that lifts the textile-topped cushion cleanly off the floor. The textile is stretched and tacked to the seat, allowing the rich embroidery to become the visual hero against the dark wood.
