A hand-carved wooden wall clock with a sculptural cantilever bracket, crafted to bring warmth and old-world charm to interiors. The trapezoidal face features classic 12, 6, 9 and 3 numerals with slim stick markers, framed by richly grained wood and paired with brass-coloured hands. The robust wall bracket doubles as a design feature, lending the piece a furniture-like presence on the wall. Ideal for hotels, heritage homestays, restaurants, cafes, living rooms and boutique lobbies.
Design origin
Inspired by Indian clock-tower architecture and the cantilevered shop signage of old bazaars, this piece marries functional timekeeping with hand-carved woodwork. The bracket echoes the carved corbels and struts seen on haveli façades, while the soft geometry of the dial reflects a quieter, more contemporary Indian sensibility. Made to order, each one carries the character of slow craftsmanship.
