Product description
A hand-built two-seater lounge sofa in solid sheesham hardwood, with broad plank armrests, a low horizontal silhouette and a single solid base rail. The joinery at the legs is left exposed as a quiet craft detail, while the loose seat and back cushions are dressed in a soft linen-blend cloth. Every piece is built to the size your room needs and finished to order. Ideal for hotel suites, resort villas, restaurant lounges, living rooms and boutique waiting areas.
Design origin
Rooted in the Indian tradition of solid hardwood seating, this design takes its proportions from the low charpai and the carved wooden thrones of Rajasthan, reimagined in a clean, contemporary form. The through-tenon joinery at the feet is a nod to country woodworking, where honest construction was always meant to be seen. Read against a plain wall, it speaks of slow craft and grounded comfort rather than showroom polish.
