Product description
A striking free-standing shoe cabinet with a curved front face, designed to bring both order and artistry to the entryway. Thirty-six symmetrical cubbies fan out across six curved shelves, each pair finding its own snug place while the radial geometry reads like a rising sun. Hand-crafted in solid wood with richly contrasting door panels, it doubles as a sculptural statement in hallways, walk-in closets, boutique hotels and gracious homes. Ideal for hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, restaurants, foyers and living rooms.
Design origin
The radial arrangement draws from the Surya mandala, an ancient Indian solar motif symbolising light, order and the turning of time. Carved sheesham frames and warm walnut tones echo traditional Indian cabinetry, while the fan-shaped shelving turns an everyday utility — a shoe rack — into a piece of quiet architecture. The contrast between the warm body and the dark door interiors is a nod to old haveli interiors, where light and shadow were used to add depth to functional joinery.
